Tracy Fults, a former senior director at Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, has left the company to form his own firm, Fults Commercial. It will focus on landlord representation, tenant representation and acquisitions and dispositions.

Fults, a Dallas commercial real estate veteran, says he expects other top producers in the market to join his firm in the near future. The company is especially looking to attract commercial leasing specialists and tenant representation professionals.

"The time is right for a new type of commercial real estate services firm in Dallas," Fults said. "What I intend to bring to the table is a rare brand of service so essential in today's changing commercial market. There is a lot of change taking place and restructuring of people. I believe that it's a time be smaller in size, thus enabling our group to focus 100 percent of our time on our clients' needs and not be concerned with where we fit into a large conglomerate. This is a time to concentrate solely on the client who needs our level of expertise and commitment."

At Cushman & Wakefield, Fults was involved in the negotiations for Comerica Bank's lease in the Comerica Bank Tower in downtown Dallas. Before that, he was executive director with Fults Cos., a brokerage founded by his late father, industry icon Jerry Fults.
